Wheeling Our Way To Daytona

Drivers start your engines! The NASCAR regular season is just about to kickoff at legendary Daytona International Speedway. Over here in the king of pavement racing, we love to kick the year off with the biggest event of the season. The prestigious Daytona 500, where a victory can set you up for a hall of fame career! Last year's 500 was kind of a crapshoot as teams were trying to figure out how to race aggressively with the next-gen car as well as not tear the limited brand new cars up. This year changes have been made and the driver's will be back to their aggressive nature as they try to capture one of the sport's biggest accomplishments.

Penske Motorsports comes in with a lot of pride, as Joey Logano is the series defending champion and Austin Cindric is the defending Daytona 500 champion. Ryan Blaney hopes to breakthrough for a win in 2o23, after a winless 2022 season that saw him make the series playoffs.

Stewart-Haas Racing brings a four car stable to the tracks this year, as veteran Kevin Harvick returns for a final season behind the wheel. Cole Custer has been regulated back down to the Xfinity Series, being replaced by Ryan Preece who impressed in a handful of Craftsman Truck Series, Xfinity and Cup Series starts last season. Chase Briscoe returns in his 14 machine for another year, 2022 saw him make the playoffs. Aric Almirola hit us all with the "Uno" reverse card, as he returns to his 10 machine after considering retirement.

Joe Gibbs Racing, has a new young driver in their stable, as they replaced a departing Kyle Busch with Ty Gibbs, who had a stellar Xfinity career where he won the 2022 Xfinity championship. Denny Hamlin returns to his Fedex 11 machine, where when he's not racing he is recording a badass podcast. Christopher Bell returns to the 20 machine as he looks to build on an impressive 2022 season. Martin Truex Jr got the job done in Los Angeles at the Clash At The Coliseum, and looks to win regular season races in his 19 machine.

23XI Racing brings in Tyler Reddick in the 45, to replace Kurt Busch who is still sidelined after suffering concussions in 2022. Reddick who made the playoffs for RCR should bring a lot to the table. Bubba Wallace is still in the 23 and looks to continue building a solid career. Travis Pastrana will attempt the Daytona 500 in the 67 car, and Kurt Busch POSSIBLY will attempt races in that car.

RFK racing aka Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing, brings new confidence, and hopefully more speed to the table in 2023. Drivers are Chris Buescher in the 17, and team owner Brad Keselowski in the 6 .

Hendrick Motorsports returns with their four car lineup of playoff-making standouts. Chase Elliott in the 9, Alex Bowman in the 48, William Byron in the 24 and Kyle Larson-I will race anything with wheels in the 5.

Front Row Motorsports has Zane Smith and Todd Gilliland sharing a ride in the 38 car, and Michael McDowell running the 34 car. Zane Smith will run the 36 car for the Daytona 500.

Legacy Motorsports who was formally, Petty-GMS racing brings in two full-time cars, and one part-time car. The full-time drivers are Erik Jones in the 43 and Noah Gragson in the 42. The part-time car will be ran by team owner, Jimmie Johnson who brings in seven Cup titles.

Richard Childress Racing, made a huge splash in the offseason as they brought in Kyle Busch to drive the 8 car, and brings back Austin Dillon in the 3 car.

Trackhouse who burst on the scene in 2022, brings back their electric duo of Ross Chastain in the 1 car and Daniel Suarez in the 99 cars. Both drivers made the playoffs, and impressed many people. Chastain made a video game move last year, that got banned this offseason :( but he still smashes watermelons! :)

Harrison Burton returns for Wood Brothers Racing, and looks to continue improving in his young and promising Cup Series career.

Kaulig Racing brings in a stable of AJ Allmendinger in the 16, and Justin Haley in the 31, in full-time rides. Chandler Smith will run a part-time schedule in the 13 car.

Spire Motorsports brings back Corey LaJoie in the 7 car. Ty Dillon joins the team in the 77 car!

LiveFast Motorsports will field the 78 entry, with BJ McLeod and Josh Bilicki sharing the driving duties.

Rick Ware Racing will field the 15 car, where JJ Yeley ran the Clash, Riley Herbst will run the Daytona 500, and Todd Gilliland will run five races. They also will field the 51 that Cody Ware will drive.

JTG Daugherty Racing will field the 47 car for Ricky Stenhouse Jr!
