Seventy-nine race teams checked into the legendary RPM Speedway for opening night of the IMCA Points Season.  Visiting victory lane were Dakota Sproul in the modifieds, Hunter Smith in the sport mods, Morgan Olmstead in the hobby stocks, Troy Burkhart in the stock car and Gage Porter in the sport compact class.

The sport compacts started the show, off with two six lap heat races won by Connor Schwien and Jakob Schwien. Their fifteen-lap feature started with a front row of Kevin Tremblay and Connor Schwien, with Connor grabbing the early advantage, Kiowa Higdon quickly got to second place by lap two. Meanwhile Kevin Tremblay and Gage Porter were battling side-by-side for third place. A slowing Leibhart would cause Schwien to lose the lead to Gage Porter. Caution came out on lap eight as Leibhart stopped in turn three, Porter brought the field back to a restart with seven laps to go. The top five would battle nose to tail for the next few laps. Connor Schwien regained the race lead with two laps to go, but Porter would battle back on the last lap, down the backstretch grabbed the lead, and out of turn four Porter regained the race lead, as Connor Schwien went rolling through turns three and four, Schwien was okay. Lap twelve saw Zach close in on his brother Morgan for the race lead. The duo would race side-by-side on lap thirteen and Zach would gain the race lead and try to pull away. Caution came out on lap eighteen as Mitchell Fischer lost the right rear wheel and tire.
