Hays, Kansas

You have waited all off-season long, some of you got your racing fix by watching the Chili Bowl or the Gateway Dirt Nationals, or other winter shows. Now the thundering herd of Coloradans, Nebraskans, and Kansans are ready to throw down in the Sunflower State to kick off the 2025 IMCA racing season!

Several area drivers have not taken much of an "off-season" as names likes Kelsie Black, Tanner Black, Doug Holzmeister, Cody Williams, Brett Berry, Cole Pfiefer, Chris Oliver, and others have competed in numerous winter shows, or last weekend in Beatrice, Nebraska at the Spring Nationals. Heck even our buddy Tanner Schmidt has been busy, whether it was calling IMCA shows, or Heartland Modified Tour shows, the best announcer in Kansas has been pretty busy.

Last year's Sunflower Classic champions included Daniel Gottshalk (mod), Cody Williams (hobby), Mike Nichols (stock), Blaine Walt (sport mod), Brandon Carmichael (sport compact) on Friday Night! Saturday Night included Mike Nichols (stock), Kaylee Richards (sport compact), Danny Concelman (sport mod), Dillon Richards (hobby), and Dakota Sproul (mod)! All of those drivers will look to defend their titles from last year as famed Sunflower Classic winners.

You never know who will pull into Hays for this entertaining two-day show, but we guarantee a fun weekend for all involved. You might see blasts from the past like David Murray, Doug Holzmeister, or Mike Bainter try to keep up with the young guns of Hunter Smith, Noah Speicher, and others!

Be sure to join us all weekend long in Hays! Practice night is scheduled for Thursday Night at 5pm! Friday night's show starts with hot laps at 5pm, with racing to follow! Saturday's show starts at the same time, these are TWO COMPLETE shows! Plenty of racing action for you fans to enjoy, we need you in the stands! If you are unable to attend, you can purchase a pass to watch on IMCA.TV!

Cya this weekend race fans, teams and drivers, let's get ready to rumble!!
