They call him the rocket, and he made all of the right moves Thursday night off of restarts, to put his machine in victory lane. Jeremy Huish used timely cautions to put himself into victory lane with the United Rebel Sprint Series at the Trego County Fair. Joining Huish in victory lane were Cody Williams who conquered the hobby stock field, Jake Schwien who got it done in the sport compacts, and Jacey Archer who found victory lane once again behind the wheel of a cruiser!

The cruisers were first on the evening’s card, they ran an eight lap heat race won by Jacey Archer. Their twelve lap main event started with a front row of Jacey Archer and Dakota Bliss. Archer found himself out front early and held off a few charges from Bliss to pick up the feature win. Second was Madelyn Kraus as the rest of the field was unable to finish.

The sport compacts were second on the card, they ran two six lap heat races won by Toby and Jake Schwien. Their twelve lap feature event started with a front row of Jake Schwien and Gage Porter. Jake Schwein got the early jump, and led by several car lengths over Brock Leibhart. Lap two saw Gage Porter and Brock Leibhart started fighting for second place, and Toby Schwien started to close in. Meanwhile Jake held a solid lead up front still. At the halfway point Jake held a small lead over Leibhart and the duo would battle closely throughout the second half of the race. Ultimately Jake Schwien was able to keep the others at bay and held on to pick up his first win since 2021. Second was Brock Leibhart, third was Gage Porter, fourth was Rileigh Flohrs and fifth was Kiowa Higdon. Kiowa Higdon was hard charger with four spots gained.

The United Rebel Sprint Series were third on the card, they ran three eight lap heat races won by Tyler Knight, Kyler Johnson and Jon Freeman. Their twenty-five lap feature event started with a front row of Ray Seemann and Tyler Knight. Ray Seemann got the early lead, meanwhile Jeremy Huish was making moves to the front. By lap nine Seeman held a half of a straightaway lead as he entered lapped traffic. Lap eleven saw a caution for Kolby Walters slow on track. Huish had got to third place and would use this restart to make another charge to the front. Seemann restarted the field with eleven laps to go, and Huish would get by in the closing laps to pick up the feature win. Second was Ray Seemann, third was Kyler Johnson, fourth was Taylor Velasquez and fifth was Jon Freeman. Hard charger in the event was Zach Blurton who picked up eleven spots, other nice runs included Jake Martens up ten spots, Taylor Velasquez up eight spots, and Jeremy Huish up seven spots.

The hobby stocks finished out the program, they ran three eight lap heat races, won by Cody Williams, Cody Ghumm and Devon Ghumm. Their twenty-lap feature event started with a front row of Jeromy Wagner and Zach Olmstead. The duo would race side-by-side until turns three and four as Zach would pull away. Meanwhile Morgan was working on a side-by-side battle for second with a Cody Ghumm. Caution came out on lap two as Cole Pfeifer was stopped in turns one and two. Zach Olmstead restarted the field and Devon Ghumm spun in front of the field in turns two, collecting Mitchell Fischer and Roger Garrison. Zach Olmstead brought the field back to green with a restart, and led for a few more laps before suffering a flat tire, surrending the race lead to Cody Williams. Williams would survive sliders from Brady Bencken to pick up the feature win. Cody picked up feature win number twenty-two on the season. Second was Morgan Olmstead, third was Tyler Heath, fourth was Jonathan Saliba and fifth was Cody Ghumm. Hard chargers were Cody Williams and Anna Minks who gained eight spots each, other nice runs included Tyler Heath up seven spots, Reagan Sellard, Jake Wharton and Blake Spear all gained six spots each.
