Sheldon Wickwar, founder of KansasRacingNews.com, has been passionately covering Kansas IMCA racing since 2021. With a top-notch website and the fan-favorite podcast "Chronicles From The Cushion," Sheldon connects fans and drivers while growing the sport's popularity.

Sheldon's original idea was to just write an article or two but after finding his groove in his "rookie" season of covering, his confidence and popularity has been on the rise, leading to Sheldon trying new things to bring fans and drivers closer together and to help grow the sport of dirt track racing in Kansas!

Starting in the late part of the 2022 IMCA racing season, Sheldon gained a partnership with the Hays Daily News to provide racing recap articles to the local newspaper in Hays, Kansas. Several articles have been used as the headlining article on the front page of the newspaper throughout the 2023 IMCA racing season.

In 2023 right before his birthday, Sheldon was added to the National Motorsports Press Association Member List!
